Mission Statement
Michiana Behavioral Health Center is committed to delivering quality mental health care in collaboration with patients, families, employees, physicians and the community in a dignified, respectful, ethical, and cost effective continuum of care for those we are privileged to serve.
Accreditation
The operations are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for acute care services, partial hospitalization, and all outpatient services. Additionally, the hospital is separately accredited by the JCAHO for residential care services provided under behavioral health standards. The hospital is also approved under Indiana's Child Care Institutional License for the residential care of children and adolescents, as well as a Tricare Certified provider of residential care for children and adolecents.
Professional, Qualified Staff
In addition to accreditations by JCAHO and the Indiana Division of Mental Health for acute care services, partial hospitalization, outpatient and residential care services under behavioral health standards, Michiana Behavioral Health Center is certified for psychiatric, detox, and substance-abuse treatments. Michiana Behavioral Health Center provides board certified and child-trained psychiatrists and experienced, master's-level, clinicians for all treatment programs.
Insurance Programs
Michiana Behavioral Health Center accepts Medicare, Anthem, Sagamore and most major insurance carriers. Michiana Behavioral Health Center is a Medicaid provider for children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years of age and adults 65 years and older.
